Dissemination of information constitutes an important aspect of NRTC programmes. NRTC has been active in organizing workshops, seminars and conferences on areas of relevant to industries. In doing so, it tries to involve the best faculty from the country and covers topics, which are suggested by industry itself. These courses are also organized jointly with leading national laboratories and professional bodies so that industry can come into contact with leading scientific and technological community of the country.

Technical Skill upgradation programme
* NRTC organizes training programmes time to time for skill upgradation of unemployed youths having qualification   degree/diploma in various branches of engineering.
* NRTC is executing a number of projects in high technology areas. These projects provide an excellent opportunity to research aspirants to work in high technology areas under the tutelage of senior scientists in close association with the industry.
* Towards its objective of creating industry oriented research, NRTC offers summer training and internships for various projects, Such assignments help students to crystallize and test the theoretical knowledge they have acquired.
Summer Training Programme

As a part of commitment for S&T development, NRTC intends to take up summer training of 6 weeks as well as 6 months for BE/B.Tech students from technical colleges/ institutes and imparts exposures in industrial R&D through project works. The training is given in the field of Materials Science, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics & Communication, Information Technology and MBA.

Technical Consultancy Services for Industrial Capacity Assessment

NRTC has been recognized as an agency by Directorate of Industries, to provide technical services for capacity assessment of industries. Presently, a large number of existing industries tiny, SSI, M & LSI which are going for their industrial expansion to avail the benefits under the central capital subsidy scheme-2003 are physically inspected by NRTC alongwith a constituted committee. Some new industries are also approaching NRTC for capacity assessment and certification of their industries.
